Lesson PolicY
This policy outlines how lessons are scheduled, billed, and managed.
By enrolling in lessons, you agree to the terms below.
Billing & Payment
Lessons are billed as a flat monthly tuition, not per individual lesson.
All students are enrolled in automatic monthly billing.
Payment is processed on the 1st day of each month
A valid payment method must be kept on file
Bank transfer (ACH) is the standard payment method
Card payments are available if preferred
Scheduling
Students are assigned a consistent weekly lesson time.
This time is reserved exclusively for the student.
Lessons begin and end at the scheduled time. Late arrivals do not extend the lesson.
Missed Lessons
Makeups are not offered for student absences.
Illness
Students should stay home when showing symptoms.
Missed lessons due to illness are not made up or refunded.
If a student has mild symptoms but is well enough to participate, an online lesson may be used instead of an in-person lesson.
Teacher Cancellations
If a lesson must be canceled by the teacher, a refund or credit will be provided.
Cancellations & Withdrawal
Lessons continue on a rolling basis until canceled.
To stop lessons, 30 days advance notice is required.
Billing continues through the notice period.
Advance notice for cancellations is appreciated whenever possible.
Practice & Equipment
Students are expected to practice between lessons.
Students should have access to a piano or weighted keyboard for regular practice.
Recitals
Recitals may be offered, typically in May and December.
Policy Updates
This policy may be updated as needed. Continued enrollment indicates acceptance of any updates.
